Punjab Medical College Alumni Association (PMCAA)

The Punjab Medical College Alumni Association (PMCAA) is a global family of medical professionals united by a shared heritage and a common responsibility toward excellence in medicine, education, and service to humanity. Our mission is to bring together graduates of Punjab Medical College from across the world to learn, collaborate, support one another, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Since its establishment in 2004, PMCAA has steadily grown from a small group of committed alumni into a structured international association representing physicians, surgeons, academicians, and healthcare leaders working in diverse healthcare systems worldwide. From the beginning, the association has remained focused on one core belief: the future of medicine is shaped through education, mentorship, and unity.

The vision of PMCAA extends beyond professional networking. It encompasses the development of future generations of doctors, the strengthening of medical education at our alma mater, and the promotion of ethical, compassionate healthcare. Through academic collaborations, workshops, reunions, and global engagement, PMCAA provides a platform where experience meets enthusiasm and knowledge is shared without boundaries.

Over the years, PMCAA has taken significant initiatives to support students and young graduates. The establishment of a dedicated alumni office at Punjab Medical College, the launch of Qarz-e-Hasna programs, and student scholarship initiatives reflect the association’s deep commitment to social responsibility. During the COVID-19 pandemic, PMCAA facilitated online multidisciplinary meetings, enabling physicians across borders to collaborate, discuss complex cases, and support one another during an unprecedented global challenge.

PMCAA firmly believes that alumni play a vital role not only in advancing medical science but also in uplifting communities. Our members have continuously contributed to teaching programs, training workshops, clinical attachments, and observership opportunities for students and junior doctors, both within Pakistan and abroad. These efforts help bridge gaps in education and create opportunities that were once beyond reach.
