One of our key priorities has been to facilitate academic collaboration and mentorship. Through teaching workshops, online academic meetings, clinical guidance, and observership opportunities, foreign alumni continue to support students and junior doctors by sharing global perspectives, skills, and experience. These initiatives have helped reduce barriers to training and professional growth, especially for those with limited access to international exposure.

The recent years have highlighted the importance of global connectivity. During challenging times, including the COVID-19 pandemic, our overseas alumni actively participated in multidisciplinary discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions, reinforcing the value of collaboration beyond geographical boundaries. These efforts demonstrated how collective expertise can enhance learning and patient care.

While digital platforms have strengthened communication and education, we firmly believe that personal engagement and hands-on learning remain essential. Therefore, the Foreign Alumni chapter remains committed to supporting in-person academic activities, institutional visits, and collaborative projects whenever possible.

In addition to academic contributions, our overseas alumni have played a vital role in philanthropic initiatives, including scholarships, Qarz-e-Hasna programs, and institutional support for Punjab Medical College. These efforts reflect our shared commitment to giving back to the institution that shaped our professional journeys.

As President of the Foreign Alumni, I encourage all overseas graduates to stay actively involved with PMCAA, strengthen chapter activities in their respective regions, and contribute their expertise toward building a stronger, more connected alumni network.
